Timeless Treassures: Vintage Al Mar Desert Storm Combat Bowie
The Desert Storm Combat Bowie. This knife was produced in commemoration of the soldiers who fought in the Gulf War, as can be seen by the commemorative banner that is etched on the blade.
The blade itself is hollow ground and features a deep clip point, which results in a needle fine tip. It has a beautifully polished satin finish, which contrasts nicely with the darker leather stacked handle. The hilt is made of brass, while the pommel is stainless steel. The whole thing is finally held together by a stainless cap nut that is screwed onto the tang of the knife. Apart from some tarnishing on the brass crossguard, this knife is in like new condition!
